Competition: Hants CupLittleton's first match of the season saw them travel to New Milton for this 1st round Hants Cup tie & playing against opponents with a few games already under their belt.Littleton's lack of match fitness was exposed.On a warm afternoon the early exchanges were close but New Milton began to get the upper hand and started to carve out chances. They took the lead on 20 minutes when Littleton’s defence failed to play to the whistle thinking their opponents were offside.The ref waved play on and New Milton capitalised. Two further goals before the break effectively finished the tie off.
HT 3-0
The second half was better for Littleton conceding only once more. Bright spots were the performances of ‘keeper Matt Woodley, who couldn’t be faulted for any of the goals,and an encouraging performance from Adam Sharpe at Centre Half which earned him the man of the match award.
Littleton 10 vs Botley Village 1

Competition: Tyro CupLittleton advanced to the 2nd round with a comfortable win against lower league opposition. Leading the way was striker Pete Southworth who bagged 6 goals, earning himself the man of the match award.
The home side looked lively from the kick off and it was no surprise when they took the lead with Eliot Bryant scoring at the far post. The lead was short lived however when Botley equalised from the penalty spot. This served to spur Littletonon though, and some excellent football led to further goals from Luke Scanlan, Ed Rose and three from Southworth for an interval lead of 6–1.

Littleton’s dominance was confirmed after the break hitting double figures with a further three from Southworth and one for Dom Hopkinson. On the rare occasions that Botley threatened, they found Ed Walton in fine form at centre half. Phil Kloppenborg put in a superb performance in the midfield holding role.
Granley Rovers 0 vs Littleton 12

Competition: LeagueFor the second week running Littleton hit double figures, this time putting a dozen past Granley, with in form striker Pete Southworth equalling his efforts of last week by getting on the score sheet 6 times.
From the start Littleton were flying and the goals flowed with 3 from Southworth, two from Tom Wickens and one from Luke Scanlan giving them a 6 – 0 lead at the break.
HT 6-0
Southworth hit a further 3 after the interval with 2 more from Scanlan and one from the hard working Ed Rose to complete the rout. Granley were denied a consolation goal when Matt Woodley saved a penalty to maintain a clean sheet. This was a superb team effort with excellent displays in all areas but Scanlan’s non-stop display in the middle of the park was enough to earn him the man of the match award.
Littleton 4 vs Winchester 5

Competition: LeagueWinchester ran out winners in this 9 goal local derby thriller, and they set the early pace. But from one of their first attacks Littletonwent in front when Pete Southworth’s effort was deflected in. The visitors then made their possession pay, hitting three goals to take control of the game. Littleton were up against it at this stage and had stand-in keeper Scott Miller to thank for keeping the score down with some smart saves but Southworth then weaved through the Winchester defence to make it 2 – 3 at the break.
HT 2-3
Littleton were fired up at the start of the second period and it was no surprise when Luke Scanlan levelled it. Having clawed themselves back into it, Littleton then lost their concentration and Winchester came back with 2 quick goals to again lead. Littleton didn’t give up though and Phil Kloppenborg struck to put them back in it. With time running out there were chances to draw level but Winchester held out to take the points. Dom Hopkinson, who epitomised Littleton’s battling spirit, was named as their man of the match.
